Questions people ask me most

If yours isn’t here, just email me — I answer quickly and I don’t do sales pressure.
What types of ceremonies do you offer?
I create and lead weddings and union ceremonies, funerals, memorials, living wakes, naming ceremonies, vow renewals and divorce ceremonies. I also offer ritual work for circles, community groups, retreats, death cafes and other gatherings.
Yes. Every ceremony is written from scratch around you, your story and the atmosphere you want to create. I don’t work from generic templates or simply swap names into a standard script.
I’m based in Blackburn and generally work across the surrounding 20 miles. If your ceremony is further away, please get in touch and I’ll let you know whether I can travel to you.
It’s always best to enquire as early as possible, particularly for weddings and popular weekend dates. However, I may also be able to help at shorter notice, so it’s still worth asking.
Absolutely. I’m not a comedy celebrant, but if your story is naturally funny, we won’t pretend it isn’t. The tone will always feel appropriate, genuine and true to the people involved.
Of course. We can include meaningful readings, music, personal promises, family contributions or symbolic rituals. I’ll help you shape everything so it feels natural and fits comfortably within the ceremony.
Yes. If you’re unsure where to begin, I can help you find the right words for vows, tributes or eulogies. I’ll make the process feel manageable while ensuring the finished words still sound like you.
A celebrant-led wedding ceremony is generally separate from the legal registration of your marriage in England and Wales. You would usually complete the legal formalities at a register office, then enjoy a completely personal celebrant-led ceremony wherever and however you choose.

Absolutely. I’m not bound to one religion, belief system or way of doing things. I can create religious, non-religious, spiritual and belief-based ceremonies, as well as blended ceremonies that bring together different faiths, cultures, traditions or personal beliefs.

Every ceremony is shaped around you and the people involved, so we can include the readings, rituals, prayers, music or traditions that feel meaningful to you. If your beliefs don’t fit neatly into a particular box, that’s completely fine too.
